  About Us

The Network of California Community College Foundations is just that: a network of community college fund raisers in California and several neighboring states. Founded in 1985 by a group of executive directors who banded together in order to learn more about successful community college fund raising, NCCCF strives to help members gain knowledge to be more effective in their jobs, collect information to enhance their work and to assist each other by sharing ideas and actions which succeed. Under the leadership of an active volunteer Board of Directors and with the help of a part time executive director, the Network accomplishes these goals through a variety of offerings.

Mission: To mobilize resources to empower community college foundations.

Vision: We are national leaders in building the capacity of community colleges to attract philanthropic support.

Goals:
  1. Educate: We will provide resources that educate and strengthen members of the network.
  2. Collaborate: Collaborate with colleagues and other advancement professionals to identify opportunities, secure and share resources, and develop programs that enhance the success of Network members.
  3. Communicate: Communicate with foundations to share information about, promote benefits of and increase participation/membership in the Network.
  4. Advocate: Advocate the value and solicit the support of policy-makers and other top District and College personnel for community college Foundations.
  5. Operational Excellence: We will provide efficient and effective systems and processes that enable the delivery of NCCCF’s mission and ensure regulatory and policy compliance at the highest levels of transparency and accountability.
