  2010 NCCCF Symposium

SCHEDULE AT A GLANCE  (<--- click to view)

Mark your calendars for the 2010 Network of California Community College Foundations Symposium - Wednesday-Friday, October 13-15!

There is just ONE annual event that is both designed by and dedicated to advancement professionals in California's community colleges - the NCCCF symposium. This is your opportunity to network with your colleagues from throughout the state and learn from experts in the fields of advancement, recruitment and retention of board members and staff, alumni programming, communications, and more.

Who Should Attend
Community college and foundation directors, chancellors, presidents, board members, trustees, and external relations professionals from California and neighboring states.

Strategies in a New Economy
How do you build for the future in an era of downsizing?  How do you cultivate donors amid increasing competition and dwindling resources?  How do you make the case for the importance of your work both on campus and in the community?

Industry experts and special guest speakers will share insights on the direction of higher education, our colleges, and how to succeed in trying times.  Attendees will have the chance to discuss best practices in fundraising, foundation administration, board management, and fostering successful campus and community relationships.  Curriculum will be geared toward both building and maintaining a healthy foundation and achieving personal professional development.

From basic building blocks to the newest techniques, the NCCCF 2010 Symposium will give you the tools you need to enhance your fundraising efforts!

Participation in national conferences on these topics often proves to be far too costly for our colleges, particularly in the current economic climate. Valuable resources and experts are being brought into our state to work with our system at this event, as well as in ongoing webinars throughout the year. We hope you will take advantage of this tremendous opportunity to invigorate your institution’s fundraising efforts by interacting with and learning from a diverse and accomplished roster of presenters.
